Evaluation Version of SimPHY: The physics smulator

Postby maheshkurmi » Sun Mar 26, 2017 9:32 am

I am very glad to share SimPHY: the physics simulator based on dyn4j with you , all the members of dyn4j forum.

I was working on the projects since late 2013, and now I have something to show.

Image

The main aim for the project was to help my physics students understanding physics better, but it can do much more than that. The basic features are
  • Creation of objects and joints with drag and draw
  • Mouse gesture support
  • Scripting on world events
  • Its own scriptable gui Elements
  • Visualisation of forces and plots for bodies ....
Download Simphy
Kindly share feedback, bugs and suggestions if any.

Please Contact me if any of you want to support the development

Regards
Mahesh Kurmi

I know the website is under construction so maybe you already plan on changing this, but currently the log-in form is posting data unencrypted. You really, really, really should use HTTPS. I use letsencrypt to get certificates and suggest you look at them or someone else to provide the certificates.

I could not find any downloads that did not require a log-in, it would be great to have a public download because if you put downloads behind an e-mail harvester I think you will loose some users.

I also did not find the source download but maybe that was behind the log-in? You can not use the Gnu Public License without offering users access to the source code - a link to your sorce code repository (github/bitbucket or whatever you use) should be good enough.

Very good looking website and from what I could see the application looks very nice.
